A movement for “pain-capable unborn child protection acts” seems to be gaining steam around the country at state levels. This month the Georgia state legislature passed one and sent it to Gov. Nathan Deal, where it awaits signing. One for the District of Columbia was introduced in the U.S. House and Senate recently. The state legislatures of Michigan and New Hampshire are also considering them.
